Civics Quiz from ISI

ISIIntercollegiate Studies Institute has posted an online civics/history quiz. You can access it by following the link from here.
Here’s the challenge as they offer it:

Are you more knowledgeable than the average citizen? The average score for all 2,508 Americans taking the following test was 49%; college educators scored 55%. Can you do better? Questions were drawn from past ISI surveys, as well as other nationally recognized exams.

I’d love to know how you did.

So even after listening to the show, listening to the questions, having my husband Ricky help me and you GIVING me an answer when I called this afternoon I did not do so well on the quiz. I got a 66%. Thank you for an awesome show and allowing me to speak my piece on freedom of religion. :) Ricky and I are fans! God Bless you!

  • You answered 30 out of 33 correctly — 90.91 %

just kidding…this is my second time to take the quiz…the first time i scored around 80%.

I got 31 out of 33 for 93.94% on my first go around, not bad I guess for someone with only a High School Education out of a small town in KY that hasn’t seen a classroom in over a decade.

  • You answered 31 out of 33 correctly — 93.94 %

I think the two I missed were poorly worded.

    My results:
    You answered 27 out of 33 correctly — 81.82 %

This was my first try, and I didn’t use any cheats. (Though looking the answers up on the internet was tempting…I mean, it’s RIGHT THERE when you take an online quiz. I refrained.)

For education background: I have a History B.A. from Texas A&M.
