A friend recently blogged on why abstinence from alcohol is unnecessarily and maybe even harmfully prohibitive.
So I thought I should explain in short order why Christians ought to abstain wholly from alcohol. For brevity, I am simply making the case. Those who wish to reply should actually respond to this argument rather than go around it. I believe this case is compatible with every scripture in the Bible about alcohol, from Proverbs 31:6-7 (oh yes, and 4-5 as well) to John 2:1-11.
